Bubblemaps Launches Intel Desk to Combat Crypto Scams Through Community Collaboration
Bubblemaps, a platform specializing in onchain intelligence, has introduced Intel Desk—a community-driven initiative designed to identify and document crypto scams, rug pulls, and suspicious activity. The beta version is already active, with contributors investigating exploits involving tokens like $UXLINK, where $113 million was drained from a compromised multisig wallet.
Intel Desk formalizes grassroots investigations traditionally shared on social media platforms like Twitter. By providing a structured, permanent repository for findings, it addresses the ephemeral nature of informal reporting. The platform enables real-time collaboration, evidence compilation, and case tracking, enhancing the crypto industry's ability to react swiftly to threats.
"We're seeing millions of tokens launched on-chain, but the infrastructure for verifying and investigating them remains inadequate," the team noted. Intel Desk aims to fill this gap by incentivizing community participation and preserving critical onchain data for future reference.
